Welcome to Govardhan and Japa Retreats!

Dear devotees, please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Every year at the end of month Kartik VIHE holds the annual Govardhan Retreat. Devotees from all around the world come to participate in a wonderful week of Krsna-katha, ecstatic kirtans and many breathtaking darsanas of Giriraja Govardhana. The sublime atmosphere of the sacred Govardhana Hill enables those who live and preach outside of the Holy Dhama to immerse themselves in the magical world of Krsnas pastimes. We invite you to join us for this unique opportunity to enhance your devotional life and your preaching with an unforgettable experience, since we believe that staying at Giriraja’s lotus feet while listening to krsna-katha is the perfection of human life.

Please visit our photogallery to get a glimpse of Govardhan Retreat and read some of the devotees’ appreciations. The recordings of the previous years’ retreats are available from the VIHE Audio Ministry. Please feel free to contact us to obtain them or to attend the Govardhan Retreat 2010.

The dates for Govardhan Retreat 2010 are November 24 - 30. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Japa Retreat 2009VIHE is happy to announce that this year we are also having fifth Japa Retreat. The dates are November 15 - 21.

We would reside somewhere in the Varshana area, so we could visit, chant, and hold classes in nearby places (Ucchagaon-Ter Kadamba, Varshana etc). The main purpose is to work on our chanting so it is only for those who are very serious about that. We will try to chant 64 rounds every second day.

To fully appreciate our Japa Retreat please visit retreat photogallery. The recording of previous year' retreat is available from the VIHE Audio Ministry. Please feel free to contact us to obtain them or to attend the Japa Retreat 2010.
